How far are you from a major airport?
From JFK it is about a 40 minute drive, or 90 minutes by public transportation (JFK). From Laguardia, it is about a 20 minute drive, or 60 minutes by public transportation (Laguardia). From Newark , it is about a 60 minute drive or 90 minutes by public transportation (Newark). All drive times depend on current traffic conditions.
I will be driving to New York. Is there parking nearby?
We offer a private parking space, free of charge. There is also on-street, meter-free parking.
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, no. As much as we love animals they are not allowed to stay.
Smoking is not permitted.
Do you have wifi?
Yes. Brooklyn Holiday Apartments offers free wireless internet to all of our guests. We also have cable television in every suite.
Can I do laundry?
The “Calyer Suite” is equipped with a washer and dryer and the “Orchard Suite” has a washing machine. There is also a full-service laundromat 1 block from the apartment.
Do I have to bring my own towels or linens?
No, we provide linens and towels. Every suite is equipped with all the comforts of home.
Do you have air conditioning?
In the summer months, we have window units in every suite that you control.
Is there 24-hour reception?
I live in the house and am available anytime, day or night. I will be here to greet and check you in upon arrival.
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am, but you are welcome to leave your luggage if you arrive before check-in, or have a late flight the day of check-out. This way you can enjoy every minute of your time in New York, unencumbered.
Is there shopping nearby?
Yes. In addition to the many coffee shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants on Manhattan Avenue, there is also a Supermarket (Associated), a 24-hour deli (USA Deli) and a 24-hour pharmacy (Rite Aid) a 5 minute walk from the house.

Brooklyn Holiday Apartments accepts cash, PayPal payments, and all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 10 percent deposit is required when you make your reservation. If you cancel your reservation at least four weeks in advance, the deposit will be refunded to you. Balance is due at check-in.
